The Birthday Bash

Here it is, the day we all took a week off to prepare for!  The result of our hard work and gargantuan efforts.  And btw, with 7 boys in the house, my clean carpets didn't last 5 minutes lol.

Ds4, now officially a 4yo, asked for this cake from Wal-Mart.  It's a dog...see the little paw prints?

Yes, his lips are still blue (not to mention some other things :P)

Ds3 (not officially 8 yet, but soon) choose a homemade lego cake.  I know, we had some icing issues.

This party was so big even the paparazzi showed up!  Naw, just a proud uncle and aunt.

The older boys hung outside with "doormat" the kitten who won't leave our, uh,  doormat.

The younger boys spent the afternoon putting together the numerous Lego sets my boys got for presents.  The Legos are overtaking my home people!

Why do they have to be so small?  So very, very, small.  And pointy.  I do not wear shoes in my home.  Put two and two together. :)

All in all it was a fun day for everyone.  The boys had fun with their cousins and friends, the grownups talked politics, economics, books, pets, etc. and we had our cake, too. 

We still haven't found a home for this guy!  I thought for sure we'd have a taker at the party, and everyone wanted to take him home, but he's still here.  Oh well, the little guy chose us for some reason, I guess I shouldn't question it.  :)
