Pins and Needles

Ds2 has been home with stomach pains and a low grade fever.  He had blood work done yesterday and his white cell count is up.  They are going to do an abdominal scan tomorrow to rule out appendicitis.  On top of this my mil is having a biopsy on her thyroid to rule out cancer.  Poor dh is torn between being with her at her appt and with ds at his.  I am just praying it all resolves itself soon.
