Product Review: TOS Travel Kits E-book

I am part of The Old Schoolhouse “Homeschool Crew” this year, which means I get to review various homeschool products and pass along my opinion.  First up, an e-book from the TOS store.  Now this resource is not exactly a homeschool product, but nonetheless will provide any homeschooling family with much inspiration.

Travel Kits: A Simple Way to Bless Others is filled with creative ideas for making travel kits for any and all travelers you know, from those going on an extended road trip to your own little road warriors tagging along on daily errands.  What exactly is a travel kit?  As explained in the book,  

“A travel kit is a collection of items that
will entertain and/or delight passengers.”

This e-book details all the steps necessary for putting together a first class travel kit for any occasion you can think of, providing endless ideas and beautiful color pictures of finished products.  Every step from planning to packaging to presentation is explained very thoroughly and in surprising detail .  You are also treated to handy tips and tricks for making your own traveling a more pleasant and organized experience. 

As I read my copy I was awed by the endless ideas and surprised by the amount of details given in the book.  It seems as if every opportunity for using a travel kit is represented in some way, and are not limited by time or cash restraints…there are ideas for all situations.  You can’t walk away from reading this without being inspired!  I am excited about making up a kit for my sister in law who is going on a family trip to Disney, as well as whipping up a kit or two for my own brood to help maintain peace and sanity (mine of course) during our travels…since we live 30 minutes from “town,” any little errand or appointment turns into traveling lol.
