Exercise Challenge

I did so-so last week with exercise. I had to make myself get up and do it, lol, but I did manage to get up and do aerobics for 3 days and lift weights for one of those days. My new challenge is to figure out a temporary schedule for the next two weeks...the kids all started their swimming lessons and they are a bit earlier than I had originally planned. So I have to get myself up earlier to exercise...soooooo hard when I look at the clock and my brain knows I don't have to get up lol. It knows there is no school, and no pressing responsibilities and shuts down for another hour or so. Why does it feel so good to "sleep in?" And now that it doesn't even get dark until well after 8pm, the whole family stays up later. Maybe I should have joined up for swimming lessons with the kiddos lol. I'm keeping with it, though, and thanks to Becca for hosting this challenge and offering support!

  1. Hey Julie,

I hear you about the morning hours. I am such a night owl. Maybe you could exercise at night? Then there's no guilt in the mornings. ;-)

  2. Hey Julie,
It is much more fun to sleep in that to exercise. Can you swim at the pool while the kids are taking swimming lessons?
I am going to try to spend a lot of time in our neighbor's pool this year as soon as it is opened--should be the middle of this week.
Hope you are having a relaxing break!

  3. Ever changing schedules does make it tough to fit work outs in. I'm with you.

I do have a great sense of accomplishment when I finish. LOL
