Woo Hoo! Just another reason to love spring…the Spring Reading Thing challenge at callapidderdays. I really need this kick in the behind challenge, too, because I haven’t read a (new or different) book in over a month! GASP! I have been re-reading again, something I love, but something that will not help me with my 50 book reading challenge at Shelfari lol. I hope you will join in, it’s lots of fun, you “meet” lots of fellow book buffs and get lots of ideas for future reading. How many times can I use lots in one sentence? Too many. :) Oh, and there are giveaways and all that good stuff, too. Enough chatter…here is my challenge list!
These are books that I have bought or borrowed and have put off for too long.
Amy Knapp’s Family Organizing Handbook
Absolutely Organized (I see some kind of trend here…)
The Devil In The Junior League
The Friday Night Knitting Club
I hope to have reviews on these as I finish them. I look forward to seeing everyone’s list for this spring. :) Happy Reading!!
I'll be interested in what you think of The Reader. The book is almost always better than the movie! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThese look great - I was just reading about The Friday Night Knitting Club on another list & I think I'd like it too. Can't wait to read all your reviews!
ReplyDeleteLooks good, Julie! I thought The Friday Night Knitting Club was good -- that's the only one from your list that I've already read. Enjoy all your spring reading, and thanks for being part of the challenge!
ReplyDeleteGood list! I'm especially curious about 'The Reader.' Have fun reading!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that shelfari had challenges. I am really out of it as far as those sorts of programs.
ReplyDeleteIs The Devil in the Junior League by the same author as The Devil wears Prada?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good list.
Great list! You gave me several ideas for books I want to read.
ReplyDeleteoo I am so with you. That is my goal this year is to get caught up on my books.. its a pretty lofty goal. Have fun reading!
ReplyDeleteGood list. The Friday Night Knitting Club looks good.
ReplyDeleteGreat list of books! I think I'll be checking out The Friday Night Knitting Club from the library soon. I hope to get my list up this weekend. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteLove your list! I thought Get Your Act Together by Pam Young and Peggy Jones was great. I have loved all of their books. Another great book on organizing/getting rid of stuff is It's All Too Much by Peter Walsh. Good luck, with both your reading and getting organized goals!
ReplyDeleteI love your sense of humor in this post. Also like your list. I read Friday Night Knitting Club and really, really liked it. Have kleenexes handy.
ReplyDeleteI love Miss Read!!! I'm slowly trying to collect her books as I find them used. Some of my favorite comfort reading!
ReplyDeleteI have only read Secret Life of Bees, and loved it but hopefully we will like Friday Night Knitting Club. Best of luck on your organizing! I should probably have some of those on my list too!
ReplyDeleteloved the friday night knitting club, good luck with no re-reading, I am guilty of that as well.
ReplyDeleteenjoy your great list.
Good luck with the organizing. Let us know if any of the books actually help you do it and maintain it! I could use all the help I can get.

I guess with four boys you had better be organized! Your list is intresting and has some that I am hoping to read soon too. Good luck with the challenge.
