Product Review: Smucker’s Uncrustables

group_3

Thanks to Mom Central the boys and I were able to try out the new whole wheat bread version of Smucker’s Uncrustables.  Now we have always been a fan of Smucker’s and especially Uncrustables.  My 4yo (soon to be 5!) won’t eat the crust on anything so he appreciates these sandwiches a lot (and he doesn’t call it crust, but “skin” lol.)  I do tolerate this little quirk of his, but also prefer to serve whole wheat breads to the fam, so I was excited to see that Uncrustables were now in whole wheat.

IMG_2955 Ds had his Uncrustable as part of a muffin tin meal earlier this week.  He didn’t notice a difference, so well done Smucker’s.

You may ask why we like this product so much?  Well, thanks for asking, I needed a segue.  ;)  First, these sandwiches are convenience at it’s best.  Just grab ‘em out of the freezer, pop them in a lunch box or picnic basket and go.  By lunch time your yummy treat is thawed and ready.  No worries about keeping it chilled, either.  Also, they come in plenty of flavors to please the whole gang.  Lastly, they serve them in DISNEY WORLD!  That’s right, the kid’s meals at many quick service counters in Disney World have Uncrustables as part of their delicious fare.  I often order one when I am tired of the burger and fry routine.  So of course when ds has these at home we always get to reminisce about our trips to Disney.  :)

Be sure and check out the Uncrustables website for recipes and promotions.  And just for good measure…

  1. My kids love the peanut butter and honey ones and have been known to eat them right out of the freezer! : }
