The boys and I have been studying how different countries celebrate Christmas and making ornaments as part of our studies. One day Mimi decided to join in. She is sorry she did.
Ds3 is painting some popsicle sticks silver. I had mentioned that Mimi’s cute little behind was awful close.
I grabbed a wet cloth and snatched Mimi just as she was about to seek refuge under the Christmas tree. Now Mimi is well known as the Queen of World Peace, a very tolerant kitty, but she did not take well to having paint removed from her hind end. When I was done with the cleaning she ran to the corner by the door. Poor innocent Winston plopped down beside her, expecting the usual friendly, playful Mimi.
“Hey Mims, what’s shaking?” “Winnie, get away.” “Chill out woman, I’m just playing.”
Winnie learned that Mimi was NOT playing. I don’t think he’s ever seen her truly mad before.
Now he knows it’s best just to leave a woman alone when she is recovering from paint on the tail. ;)
For more kitty fun head over to Gattina’s.
Oh dear, don't tell Mimi but I had to laugh! And poor Winston too!
ReplyDeleteMimi probably wondered if her hiney would ever look the same. Poor Winston he didn't understand. Cute post!

Too funny! She shouldn't have gotten so close to the work being done. She won't make that mistake again.

Hahaha ! Arthur too hates when I have to clean his tail it puts him in a very bad mood ! and with his white fur he often comes home with black greasy spots, because he loves to "work" under cars ! Fights happen in the best families, lol !
ReplyDeleteHi Julie,
ReplyDeleteI'm not in the right mood to comment as usual.
You'll understand when reading my COT this week.
Sorry

ReplyDeleteOh that is funny. That happens to Patch too when we painted the wall in the livingroom. He also hate it when I cleaned his tail.
ReplyDeletePoor winston didn´t understand that.
Happy Tuesday and happy painting :D
Hahaha, perhaps Mimi wants to help paint, too.
