Cats On Tuesday: One Liners

onthelooue0zz8

I just read a great cat related book, Making Rounds With Oscar by Dr. David Dosa.  Dr. Dosa takes care of elderly dementia patients and Oscar is a cat who lived in a nursing home with many of Dr. Dosa’s patients.  Oscar could tell when a patient was going to die and would come into that patient’s room and stay with them through the process.  Each chapter of the book starts with a quote about cats that I found to be funny, cute and quite insightful.  Here are a few I especially liked.

If there is one spot of sun spilling onto the floor, a cat will find it and soak it up.”  J.A. Mcintosh

The real measure of a day’s heat is the length of a sleeping cat.”  Charles J. Brady

Cats are connoisseurs of comfort.”  James Herriot
