I saw this fun meme through Pam’s blog and thought I would join in. We are having a wonderful spring like week so far, some would even call it summer like as the temps are in the 80’s lol. Ds1 has already hit the beach a few times. But for us that’s spring! Here are some signs of spring in our yard.
It’s hard to tell, but my hibiscus are coming back to life! Trust me, there are little buds there…I check every day. :)
Early azaleas. I was attacked by a bee for this shot, so forgive the blurriness.
I have no idea what flowers these are…they are on a vine that has been growing up the azalea bushes. Sure is pretty, though.
Okay, so visit A Southern Day Dreamer for more of the great outdoors. :)
Welcome to Outdoor Wednesday, it's so fun! I love your backyard. I'm tempted to start an azalea in a pot!
ReplyDeleteGreat choice for today.
Have a great Wednesday!
Our azaleas are blooming, and I just love them. Yours are pretty, and I'm sorry you risked life and limb and bee sting to get a snapshot for us. Ouch! Not sure what the yellow flowers are, but I love yellow!
ReplyDeleteGlad you joined us for Outdoor Wednesday...
XO,
Sheila :-)
Hi Julie,
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Outdoor Wednesday. Judging by your photos springtime is on its way. Can't wait for you to share all the blooms.
All the best, Lana @ Showers of Blessings
Welcome to Outdoor Wednesday Julie! Glad to see you have joined the fun! My hibiscus never make it through the winter...so I usually pick one up each year because I love the rich pink! Thanks for sharing your photos.

Those azaleas are beautiful and I love that yellow flower.
ReplyDeleteIt's to early for bees here, so I don't have to worry about attacks--yet. Bees love me.
I am so jealous of the 80 degree weather!
I hope it didn't sting you that much. I'm glad you're not allergic to bee stings. This beautiful post might turn out to be a painful one in your case :-)
ReplyDeleteYour little buds are a sure sign summer is on the way!
ReplyDeleteJust love your azaleas. Watch out for those bees!
Happy OW! :-)
xoxo
